* Welcome *

Every person has a right to peace, joy, and rest. It's difficult to experience because gestures around vaguely...life. Work keeps you from resting, which depletes your energy to seek joy, causing you to feel restless. Marginalization and discrimination actively keep us from the fullness of life we deserve. We should feel safe in this world and so many things keep us from that. But you can feel safe with yourself and in your body.

* My Focus *

I specialize in working with clients on trauma recovery, medical and social transition, identity discovery, and non-monogamy. I have extensive experience in helping people navigate medical transition, specifically the surgical process and recovery. I am passionate about helping people discover themselves, their sexuality, and feeling safe in their bodies.

* My Approach *

My approach to therapy is grounded in attachment theory and radical acceptance. I use memory reconsolidating therapies for trauma processing and recovery. I integrate somatic, breath, and mindfulness practices to deepen our relationship and trust in ourselves and others. I also place a strong emphasis on acceptance and commitment therapy for people striving to create better boundaries with themselves and others.

* My Philosophy on Therapy *

My core tenets of therapy are radical acceptance, collaboration, play, and rest. We cannot heal alone and we aren’t meant to. I view my work as a collaborative process of healing and care between myself and the client. All people have the capacity to heal and find peace, even when there is chaos around us. It is not easy work but it is worthwhile. I strive to create a space where you can challenge yourself or come to rest, grieve or find joy. We get to play, laugh, and cry together. Healing is a vulnerable act and I am grateful to witness it.

* MORE ABOUT ME *

I am a proud gender queer leather dyke who has been practicing for almost 5 years. Before coming to PA, I managed a gender affirming medical program at a local hospital, working directly with surgical patients and providers. I have the best cat, Martha Elizabeth Stewart. When I’m not working, I’m usually outside, reading, or watching nerdy youtube videos about how credit ruined the world. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions if you’re curious.
