* Welcome *
You want to feel grounded and secure in your relationships. You want to feel comfortable as yourself. You deserve this and so much more. With a background in marriage and family therapy, I see people in the context of their relationships. Every day, our lives are impacted by those around us and that may not always be an easy thing. I hope to help queer-identified individuals and partners find strength, intimacy, support and passion in their relationships.
* My Focus *
I specialize in working with relational concerns, such as sexual concerns, communication problems, polyamory and monogamy, and boundaries. I also specialize in gender and sexuality identity exploration. I am very passionate in helping folx build happy and healthy relationships that are unique and sustainable for them.
* My Approach *
My approach to therapy is rooted to curiosity and exploration. I work collaboratively with my clients to understand what well-being looks like for them. I believe that approaching therapy in a genuine and authentic way leads to lasting change and I want to encourage that for all of the individuals I work with.
* My Philosophy on Therapy *
As a queer-femme therapist, I work primarily from a postmodern intersectional narrative lens. This lens includes queer and feminist theories to help me understand how identities impact the narratives the my clients hold for themselves. I am passionate about working with the queer population and relationships and want all of my clients to find relief, joy, and pleaasure in their lives.
