* Welcome *

Maybe you’re feeling disconnected, disempowered, or just straight-up-not-having-a-good-time. Maybe you want to become connected with yourself, others, or your culture. You are allowed to live a full, meaningful, and enjoyable life, and I want to help you figure it out.

* My Focus *

I specialize in working with clients around trauma, mood disorders, relationships, identity development, and queerness. I help people tap into their potential and existing strengths to build confidence for tackling the problems that are unrelentingly thrown at them by the world. I also enjoy helping clients improve communication skills and connect with themselves through their emotional experiences. Partners who want to deepen their connection and improve communication are also an integral part of my clinical work.

* My Approach *

Heavily influenced by relational-cultural theory, I navigate the world and direct my work through an intersectional, feminist, and sex-positive lens and aim to be anti-racist in my personal and professional life. My eclectic and therapeutic approach combines the utilization of various theoretical approaches and real life experiences to guide the healing process.

* My Philosophy on Therapy *

Healing is birthed from mutually empowering relationships, as well as connection to one’s identities and community. My goal is to create space for clients to feel safe, celebrated, and reduce shame, while deconstructing the internalized “isms” that might be holding you back from connection.

* Credentials & EXPERIENCE *

  • LPC in Illinois

  • MA in Counseling Psychology, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology

It is an absolute privilege that my entire career thus far has been serving the LGBTQ+ community in Chicago. While in graduate school, I obtained experience working with immigrant families, focusing on play therapy with young children.

* More About Me *

Originally from North Carolina, I’m a proud southern queer who escaped evangelicalism by the skin of my teeth. I have a background in performance art, and I’m a dog mom to a geriatric black lab and a rescue pitbull.
